The blockbuster movie South Pacific was recently re-released on Blu-ray Disc by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to commemorate the movie's 50th anniversary, and Kauai tourism authorities hope it will attract more tourists to the island. The recently reopened Freestyle Music Park has launched a new children's area called Kids in America, along with four new rides. Kids in America is an area where children, parents and grandparents can enjoy the best in family amusement and entertainment on four family-friendly rides.These include Life Is A Highway, a flat-track ride that puts guests in the cab of an 18 wheeler. Last weekend, the Sandestin Wine Festival on Florida's Gulf Coast attracted hundreds of visitors and wine lovers to an event filled with tasting and relaxation. The event was held at a gold and beach resort in the village of Baytowne Wharf. It featured more than 600 domestic and international varietals of wine.
