Construction work has begun at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts' first Hawaiian family resort that will feature a combination of hotel and timeshare options. The company has now moved to the final stages of the project, after offering the preview of the attractions that await visitors at west Oahu's Ko Olina, which includes water slides erupting from a faux volcano.The Associated Press quoted Disney as saying the present phase of the work focuses on establishing the foundations and laying underground utilities on the 21-acre oceanfront site.
